Our story

We’ve always loved coffee

Like, really loved it.

But loving coffee started to come with a problem. Coffee shops took too long, cost too much, and weren’t always there when we needed them. Planes, long car rides, early mornings at work, days off our usual routine… suddenly, good coffee wasn’t an option.

And when we went looking for “convenient” alternatives, we didn’t love what we found.

Convenience shouldn’t come with compromises

Most of the quick coffee options we tried were full of ingredients we didn’t recognize or didn’t feel great drinking every day (think emulsifiers, gums, artificial flavors - yuck!).

Once we started paying closer attention, we realized those same ingredients showed up in a lot of grocery store and coffee shop options too. That didn’t sit right with us.

Coffee is something people drink every single day. If anything deserves better ingredients and more care, it’s that.

So we went back to basics

We ordered countless raw ingredients and started experimenting in our kitchen. We brewed, blended, tasted, adjusted, and repeated. A lot.

After hundreds of cups, countless milk recipes, and tasting every natural sweetener we could find, we landed on something we genuinely loved. Coffee that was quick, clean, and actually delicious. Something we reached for because we preferred it, not just because it was easy.

That’s when Brissta was born.

Meet Brissta

Brissta was born out of a simple belief: you shouldn’t have to compromise on something you do every day.

It’s café-quality coffee, made to be simple. A ready-to-mix coffee powder made with real coffee, clean and thoughtfully sourced ingredients, a touch of functional adaptogens, and a lot of care. Just add hot water and you’re set. No machines. No extra steps. No weird stuff.

Whether you’re at work, on the road, out of your routine, or just at home wanting something easier, Brissta is there to make sure your coffee still shows up.

Meet Elizabeth & Michael

We’re Elizabeth and Michael, and before starting Brissta in late 2025, we spent our careers in finance, consulting, and tech. Our days were busy, travel-heavy, and rarely predictable, which meant our coffee situation was… not great.

We were constantly choosing between bad office coffee, overpriced coffee shop runs, hotel machines, or whatever was being served on a plane. As people who care about taste and actually read ingredient labels, we couldn’t find an option that checked both boxes.

We didn’t set out to reinvent coffee. We just wanted one that fit real days and routines without cutting corners.

Our promise to you

We care a lot about what goes into your coffee, because it’s something you drink every day.

That means no chemicals, no fillers, and nothing sneaky. Just real ingredients we feel good about using and drinking ourselves. It also means paying attention to the details, from sourcing to packaging, and choosing thoughtful ways to protect freshness and quality.

Good coffee shouldn’t cut corners, and now it doesn’t have to ;)
